G’day mate! Philip White, better known as Whitey or Phil, is the bloke behind the wheel at Sunstopper, making sure Dubbo gets the best blinds and service around. With 8 years in the business, Phil’s no stranger to hard work. Before blinds, he spent over 30 years driving fuel tankers and ran his own mowing and maintenance business, so you know he’s got the grit to get the job done.
Phil’s got a White Card and a security licence, which means he’s just as handy on the tools as he is running the farm. Speaking of the farm, when Phil’s not sorting out your blinds, you’ll find him at home with his wife, Cathie, enjoying the simple life on the land.
Born on 16th April, Phil shares his birthday with Aussie icon and country music legend Slim Dusty which is fitting for a bloke who knows how to work hard and keep things down-to-earth.
Cathie White is the heart of Sunstopper, running the business alongside her husband, Phil, for the past 8 years. With over 35 years of experience in sales and retail, Cathie is all about connecting with customers and making sure they walk away with a smile. She holds a Certificate IV in Frontline Management, which makes her a whiz at keeping everything running smoothly.
Cathie’s life motto, “Life is short, enjoy it while you are here,” is a reflection of her approach to both work and family, making time for the little joys every day.
Born on 5th February, Cathie shares her birthday with TV legend Barbara Hershey, known for her grace and versatility, a fitting parallel to Cathie’s ability to balance business and family life with ease. In her downtime, you’ll find Cathie relaxing at home with her family or breeding cocker spaniels, a hobby she’s truly passionate about.
